I took this on Saturday evening of the 8th April. At the time I usually start my house cleaning because during the day is just too hot and I’m a tad lazy to get going earlier. I see variations of sunsets everyday and I snap them automatically. It’s a habit. It’s there around me and it will be there when I’m gone too. If someone were to start collecting scenic images, and put it together, like a big diary of the planet earth, imagine how many eye-popping things there would be …that have been here for so long except we mostly don’t notice. I suppose that is what National Geographic does. I don’t just take pics of it, I stop and and I slow down, and I quiet myself for the duration. Photo meditation. I never thought of it like that, but it makes sense now.
